Live Nativity Scene
Experience the magic and wonder of the very first Christmas with our annual downtown Live Nativity Presentation! Over 80 volunteer actors from local churches come together to recreate the pilgrimage to Bethlehem and the miracle of Jesus' birth.
The production begins at 7 PM with a procession down Main Street. Feel as if you're journeying back in time as Roman soldiers, angels, and townspeople in period clothing join the procession.
The parade ends at the courthouse lawn, transformed into a reimagination of the stable where Jesus was born. Mary, Joseph and the rest of the nativity gather around the manger while choirs sing beloved Christmas carols. Fireworks and Christmas lights with shine upon the courthouse, creating a magical backdrop for this heartwarming community celebration of the first Christmas story.
